Rum truffles, done right. Inspired by the classic Dark and Stormy cocktail, this recipe is brimming with warming spicy notes and a generous pour of premium dark rum – plus a squeeze of zesty lime. When pairing chocolate with alcohol, we find ourselves reaching for grades with deep, brooding cacao notes that hold their own against fiery tipples. which is why we’ve served these chocolate rum truffles in our smooth and intense 70% dark.

Starting with a hit of intensely fruity lime, these soft centred tipsy truffles give way to a tingle of ginger and a final boozy kick that lingers on the palate. All underscored by deep notes of dark chocolate. We believe that authenticity tastes better, which is why we only use premium alcohol in our cocktail truffles. These rum treats are no exception. The molasses notes you’ll detect in this recipe are from a cask-aged dark rum: a premium spirit rich with the flavours of toffee, brown butter and cinnamon. And the ginger and lime? All natural, for the best expression of flavour.
